The duckling hatched

One of Donald’s and Abbeys eggs has hatched…I would like to introduce the newest member of the flock….

“Lucky”

Lucky hatched after 40hrs from external pip.

Hatched at 8:20(ish) on the 23/5/2021

Here are some photos, taken 2 hrs after hatch and roughly 24hrs after hatch.

I’m also working on getting the hatch video up for you all to see.

The short story behind her name.

Lucky got her name because she is a very lucky duck.. as I thought most of the eggs were no longer viable I was going through them ready to throw them out….I turned lucky’s egg to candle it and saw “her”tiny little bill sticking out of the shell…. Hence the name…
